Willow Road
modern movement conservation
Hampstead, London, NW3
This house, listed Grade 2*, was designed by Ernö Goldfinger for his own use in 1938, and forms a terrace with the two others on either side. In 1973 it was among the first Modern Movement buildings to be listed, and was acquired by the National Trust in 1992 following a presentation of it to them by James Dunnett, after the death of Ursula Goldfinger. In 1986 James Dunnett carried out various repairs to the house at the request of Ernö Goldfinger shortly before his death in 1987.
