James Dunnett Architects have for thirty years concentrated on the sensitive and imaginative alteration and extension of domestic properties, often listed or in conservation areas, a field in which the practice has been an award winner.
Designs have also been prepared and projects carried out in other fields, such as new-build housing, education, exhibitions, memorials, and church re-ordering, and much research by James Dunnett has been published exploring the theoretical and historical background of twentieth century architecture and urban form, and the means to its conservation.
