Elegant Variation: the Work of HT Cadbury-Brown
exhibitions
Royal Academy, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1
This exhibition was designed to show the life work of the architect HT Cadbury-Brown (1913-2006), who had been Ernö Goldfinger’s first associate in England and who had gone on to play a major part in the Festival of Britain and to be architect of the Royal College of Art. James Dunnett had played a leading role in successfully opposing planned extensions and demolitions at the listed Royal College of Art. He designed this exhibition and, in collaboration with Prof. Alan Powers, selected it and contributed to the associated publication.
