In 1983 James Dunnett was responsible, in collaboration with Dr Gavin Stamp, for selecting, designing, and mounting a comprehensive exhibition of the life work of Ernö Goldfinger at the Architectural Association, and for compiling the book that was published to coincide with exhibition, supported by Arts Council funding. Subsequently he organised a Goldfinger centenary conference there – ‘The Measure of Man’.
