Domestic Extensions – Ground and Roof level

Throughout his career James Dunnett has designed and built small domestic extensions and loft conversions, many of them in the carefully protected Hampstead Garden Suburb, where special consents have to be obtained. To design an extension whether on the ground or in the roof that does not do damage to the rooms of the existing house or its architecture  requires skill and care. In some cases it may not be possible: it may be best simply to demolish an existing extension and return a house to its original form.
